Bio
I am a multidisciplinary artist transitioning from years of commission-based realism into a deeply personal abstract practice. As a mother of two young children, my work is inseparable from the rhythm of my daily life—the weight of expectations placed on women, the unseen emotional labor, and the constant negotiation between structure and chaos. My paintings explore these dualities through layered textures, intuitive mark-making, and organic forms. Beginning with earthy, nature-inspired underpaintings, I allow muted tones and botanical elements to form the emotional foundation of each piece. The final composition reflects my inner state, shifting between rawenergy and intentional detail. Across my practice, I am searching for balance—the yin and yang of motherhood, identity, and creativity. My work documents the tension between messiness and order, overwhelm and clarity, exhaustion and tenderness. Through abstraction, I invite viewers to feel the emotional energy behind each piece and to find their own reflection in the spaces between chaos and calm.
