Field Note No. 03 - Guidance

Guidance holds the tension between structure and intuition. Built in muted tones of maroon, grey, and soft watercolor browns, the piece carries an industrial stillness that feels both grounded and searching.

At its center is a small star—an ongoing symbol in my work representing the North Star, a quiet calling, and the unseen pull toward what you are meant to follow. Rather than pointing loudly, it simply exists as a steady reminder: direction is often subtle, and guidance is rarely forceful.

This painting reflects that internal navigation—the quiet knowing that even in uncertainty, something within us is always orienting toward home.
